GODFREY, IL – The RiverBend Growth Association’s March 2025 Small Business of the Month award recipient has been helping businesses and organizations launch, grow and sustain identities of positivity throughout the Riverbend for 32 years now.
Alton’s Logo It has been chosen for this month’s award by the RBGA. When the company was established, it set out to be a leader in the corporate, group and team identity arenas. Logo It continues as a local leader in the market today.
Located in Alton at 2603 State Street, Logo It creates customized apparel and promotional products for local businesses, organizations, schools, clubs, sports teams and still more.
Casey and Mike Hamberg purchased Logo It in 2013, and Carley Hamberg-Zigrang became its CEO just over a year ago after spending a lifetime growing up in her parents’ business. As a local business establishment, Logo It dates back to the late 1990s.
Casey Hamberg shared that positivity is at the core of the company’s mission and vision. She said they got into the business “to promote businesses and individuals in a positive light.” She added that Logo It “envisions being a part of the Riverbend community for years to come.”
Over the years, Logo It has expanded its footprint and offerings to continue meeting the needs of its customers.
Recently, the company added 3,000 square feet to its interior to house a warehouse and a showroom.
They have also recently added an automatic screen machine to help increase production, as well as a DTG machine to keep up with the industry’s latest. A DTG machine, or direct-to-garment printer, is a specialized inkjet printer that applies ink directly to fabric. DTG printers are used to create custom designs on a variety of clothing items.
Further keeping up with market needs, Logo It employs 14 currently and plans to add more soon. Staff are continually keeping up with new techniques in the field and training on new equipment, such as Logo It’s new DTG machine and its capabilities.
“Watching the business grow and our employees grow has been one of the greatest opportunities coming out of running our business,” said Hamberg. “Hard work is what it takes every day, and we are proud we have made it all these years. Seeing the business continue to grow is exciting.”
There have been challenges to running the business over the years as well. “The world changes all the time,” Hamberg said. “The industry changes and we have to keep up on the latest trends and equipment. We have to embrace the changes and grow with them.”
Most who are aware of Logo It are also aware of its menu of services and products. They offer custom screen printing and embroidery as well as “company store” fulfillment. Company store fulfillment involves a business’s identity and promotional items intended for employees, vendors, customers, franchisees or as handouts at trade shows and events.
But some may not know that they also provide design and layout services for customized promotional items, embroidered apparel and screen-printed items that customers will order as well as customers’ brochures and mailers.
As an integral part of the Riverbend community, Logo It is diligent in its corporate citizen responsibility and is out in the community regularly. “If there is a need, we have no issue pitching in,” noted Hamberg. “We are always donating to events to help the community. Logo It also participates in the events. We just took on litter cleanup, for example. We are a firm believer that you support the community that supports you.”
“Logo It feels that our customer service sets us apart from others,” Hamberg added. “We strive to make each client’s experience easy and fun. We know there are other companies out there that can do what we do, so we make sure we are the first choice. Logo It loves what we do on a daily basis. Being in this community and seeing our work out there is exciting and makes us all very proud.”
