With a guiding mission of restoring confidence through compassion, Riverbend Dental in Godfrey is being recognized as the November 2025 Small Business of the Month award from the RiverBend Growth Association.

“At Riverbend Dental, our mission is to provide exceptional, compassionate dental care that improves the health and confidence of our community,” says spokesperson Amy R. Sikes. “We are committed to building long-lasting relationships with our patients through honesty, integrity, and professionalized service. As we grow, we strive to expand access to quality dental care, invest in the latest advancements, and support the well-being of the community we proudly serve.”

Sikes adds that the dental practice believes that creating a healthier community starts with a confident smile. To that end, Riverbend Dental offers accessible, quality care to patients of all ages. They offer compassionate care and flexible payment options, and in-house membership plans to help ensure no one avoids treatment. They also provide community outreach, oral health education, and school visits while partnering with other local organizations to support wellness.

Located at 5209 Mae Drive in Godfrey for the past four years now, Riverbend Dental stands today after completing a merger of its Godfrey and former Alton location. Owned by La Cross Dental Administrators, the dental practice currently employs 16. The former location in Alton was open for 12 years prior to the merger.

“To facilitate the merger,” Sikes explains, “we added two new operatories and expanded our sterilization area. We updated all the dental and business equipment to supply our team with the best tools and equipment they need to better care for our patients.”

Sikes also shares that Riverbend Dental has “a very solid team” in both its clinic and its business office, offering years of experience. “We truly care about our patients and likely care for their whole family as we have a great amount of multi-generational patients.”

Sikes further notes that Riverbend Dental is a growing practice and will soon expand its facilities to better accommodate its patients, and that they recently expanded their front office support to ensure no calls go unanswered.

When asked what sets Riverbend Dental apart from its competition, Sikes replies: “The one thing that can set us apart is the exceptional patient experience! From the moment patients call or walk in, we make them feel known and valued. We have minimal wait times because we prioritize efficiency and respect their time as well. We treat every patient like they are our family.

“We also use the most advanced technology,” she continues. “Our investments include digital X-rays, intraoral scanners like iTero and Primescan that eliminate messy impressions. We also utilize intraoral cameras and in-office CT scanning. Together, these tools enhance efficiency, accuracy, comfort, and communication.”

Riverbend Dental also offers many specialty services including Invisalign, oral surgery, endodontics, and implants which further differentiate them from other practices.

Maintaining a strong community presence is a priority as well. Riverbend Dental has donated to local organizations such as Operation Blessing in Wood River and Community Hope Center in Cottage Hills. They continue their community outreach through donations, and hosting food drives which further build loyalty and a sense of trust within the community.
