GODFREY, Ill. – The RiverBend Growth Association’s annual LeadHership Seminar is fast approaching. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Enjoy Church in Alton. Lunch is included with admission this year with a voucher for Rachel & Co. food trailer who will be on site.

On tap to share exclusive insights on hot topics affecting women in leadership today are three dynamic speakers fulfilling the theme of Tools For Life. They are Brittany Raji Alberty, Katy Martin and Crystal Officer.

Brittany Raji Alberty is an award-winning community relations consultant, TEDx speaker & Amazon bestselling author, specializing in outreach & engagement campaigns. Brittany will speak on Time Management Using AI Tools including Scheduling Tools, Streamlining Communication and Data-Driven Decision Making.

Katy Martin has successfully built and trained several teams in various areas of business having come from both corporate and small business worlds. Her experience in managing different leadership and personality styles over the years has provided her with valuable insights into identifying company cultures that align with specific personalities. Katy will discuss company core values and the accountability system.

Crystal Officer serves as the CEO of Beverly Farm Foundation, a 126-year-old organization dedicated to creating loving and caring homes for individuals with developmental disabilities. Over the years, Crystal has expanded her expertise across 11 states, holding leadership positions that oversee all facets of operations for leading companies in the field. Crystal will define Emotional Intelligence (EI) and its importance in personal and professional settings.

Attendees will engage with each of these three dynamic speakers. They will also have ample opportunity to network with other leading women from throughout the region.

We’re delighted that Taylor Justice will serve as our emcee. Taylor Justice is the Chief Development Officer at Beverly Farm Foundation, where she has passionately served the mission for over nine years. With more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit and fundraising industry, Taylor has made significant contributions to the field.

Attendees do not need to be a member of the Growth Association to take advantage of this leadership development opportunity. Registration is now underway and filling up quickly. Non-RBGA members can register for $45 per person, while RiverBend Growth Association members get a discounted rate of $35 per person.

An awards ceremony to honor a select slate of nominated professional women in the RiverBend area also takes place during the event. One winner of the 2024 RBGA LeadHership Inspire Award and one LeadHership Uplift Award will be named. And one special recipient will receive the 2024 RBGA LeadHership Empowerment Award. This year’s nominees are Erin Bickle, Kerry Bowman, Suzanne Brewer, Jill Chapman, Bianca Jackson, Taylor Justice, Elaine Kane, Robin Karpan, Debra Kreutztrager, Dr. Tanya Patton, Tara Wagenblast, and Lisa Webb.
